Opportunities at MHANYS
Internship and Volunteer Program
MHANYS is currently accepting Production Internship applications for Fall 2025 and Spring 2026 as well as General Internship applications for Spring 2026.
Interns and volunteers are an integral part of the Mental Health Association in New York State. MHANYS interns and volunteers work on meaningful projects while being provided mentorship from professionals. Current students at the undergraduate or graduate level from any academic discipline are eligible to apply for internship positions and may be approved to receive college credit.
Potential interns and volunteers need to complete an online application and attach a cover letter and resume (resume and cover letter are required for student interns). Student interns are encouraged to submit their applications and materials well before the start of the semester in which they wish to intern.
Currently, there are two types of internships at MHANYS: General Internships and Production Internships.
General Internships
