MHANYS provides training and certifications for workforce development and community learning.
The CarePath™ Program is a MHANYS Family Engagement Service that assists individuals and their families, or identified supporters, in developing a comprehensive path designed for managing a mental health setback.
MHFA is skills-based training that teaches people how to identify, understand and respond to signs and symptoms of a mental health or substance use challenge. Similar to physical First Aid and CPR, MHFA helps you assist someone experiencing a mental health or substance use crisis until professional assistance is obtained or the crisis is resolved.
MHANYS School Mental Health Resource and Training Center can help educate teachers, staff and all school professionals about mental health challenges, suicide prevention, trauma and a myriad of other topics to help schools better understand the mental health needs of their communities. MHW 101 reframes the conversation about mental health – teaching that we ALL have mental health; it’s not just about the presence or absence of an illness. The training will help participants understand mental health as an integral part of overall health, prevalence of mental illness, and risk & protective factors; and promote help-seeking behavior, recovery, and self-care.
MHW 101 in the Workplace offers a basic understanding of mental health and reframes the conversation about mental health – teaching that we ALL have mental health; it’s not just about the presence or absence of an illness. The training will help participants understand mental health as an integral part of overall health, prevalence of mental illness, and risk & protective factors; and promote wellness and recovery in the workplace.
