Attached is posting for the position of CEO for the Ulster County MHA. After over twenty years of dedicated service, Ellen Pendegar is retiring as CEO, later this year. Ellen has been a voice of intelligence, compassion and dedication in Ulster County and throughout New York. She will be leaving an incredible legacy that has resulted in enhancing the recovery of countless New Yorkers with mental health related issues.
For over the last decade, she has severed on the State Board of MHANYS, the last three as Chair. She has run the organization with that same dedication. Throughout our countless conversations, she is always driven by the organization’s mission. Her common sense approach, vision and humor have helped lead the organization in a strong direction. In addition, she is a respected leader in issues of Suicide Prevention, Mental Health First Aid and Mental Health Instruction in School.
She will be greatly missed.
