We are very excited at MHANYS to introduce one of our newest staff members, Jamie Papapetros.
Many of you already know Jamie from his stellar work as part of the government affairs support team for the New York State Psychiatric Association, a division of the American Psychiatric Association. Jamie also has served on the MHANYS Board.
In the decade I have known Jamie, he has been regarded as one of the smartest, most compassionate, and most detailed advocates in the community.
Under the mentorship of Richard Gallo and Karin Carreau-Spencer, Jamie has thrived in the behavioral health space and many of the accomplishments of the NYSPA are due to his diligent efforts.
Jamie will be working as an MHANYS strategist—engaging with our staff and members in facilitating communication and resources to the community.
