Advocacy groups are continuing to push for a 7.8% funding increase for the mental health and human service sector. We are at the Capitol everyday urging support. MHANYS Board Chair and Northern Rivers CEO, Bill Gettman was interviewed by Capitol Tonight and shared reasons why our sector deserves a funding increase. Also, Assembly member Simon and Senator Brouk both highlighted their support for increased funding as well.
We will continue to rally at the Capitol until the budget is passed.
