MHANYS is very pleased that Senator Samra Brouk remains committee chair for Mental Health. She has been a steadfast and tireless advocate for our community. As strong advocate Peter Harckham moves to Environmental Conservation, he leaves a great legacy as Committee Chair for Alcoholism and Substance Use Services. We are pleased that friend and longtime advocate for behavioral health, Senator Nathalia Fernandez will Chair the Senate committee on Alcoholism and Substance Use Services.
