This has been quite a week in Albany with advocates from across the State coming out to support a 7.8% investment increase. ACL, The Alliance for Rights and Recovery, InUnity and Families Together all held their events at the Capitol…Next week, we have our MHANYS and AFSP’s MH Matters Day and NAMI is holding their event as well…. We have over 350 people planning to come to Albany.
Special shout out to Harvey and Luke of the Alliance for putting together a rally at the Capitol on Tuesday with hundreds of people lined up and chanting ‘We Can’t Wait for 7.8’ Incredibly powerful. There is no way those in power did not hear our plea for 7.8.
