Thanks to Heather Briccetti Mulligan and Frank Kerbein of the New York State Business Council for having MHANYS present today to discuss issues and resources for employer and employees in regard to mental health.
The numbers are staggering. According to a 2022 report from Kaiser Permanente, over 75% of employees have struggled with an issue that has affected their mental health and yet 8 out of 10 workers with a mental health condition say shame and stigma prevent them from seeking mental health care.
Our Power point is attached that details some of these ongoing challenges and also provides solutions and resources including Mental Health First Aid and 988.
