Our Photo for 4% Campaign in support of the targeted inflationary increase (formerly known as the COLA) reached a new milestone this week. We are pleased to report that over 135 legislators—two-thirds of the Legislature—have now stopped by to show their support for the community-based behavioral health and human services not-for-profits. These agencies need this essential investment not only to contend with rising costs but also to sustain their vital programs, services, and workforce. As the budget process concludes next week, we will continue to be at the State Capitol to maintain our visibility for our sector.
We thank all of the fellow organizations and advocates who have joined us including the Alliance for Rights and Recovery, Association for Community Living, NAMI, Northern Rivers and InUnity.
