The entire community is finding out more about future Governor Kathy Hochuland where she stands on mental health issues. She has been a strong advocate for both mental health and children’s issues. She spoke at our panel discussion last year about the mental health impact of the pandemic to children in schools as well as speaking at our Legislative Day this year discussing issues of COVID and mental health. Attached below are two conversations she had with Commissioner Sullivan—one related to mental health among children and the other related to suicide prevention.
