This PrideMonth, the SchoolMentalHealthResourceandTrainingCenter will be providing an educator cafe and a family education webinar overview of EMPACT – Empathy Based Model for Prevention, Affirmation, and Community Transformation – a trauma-informed, evidence-aligned training developed by the PrideCenter of the Capital Region.
Nathaniel Gray, MSW, Executive Director of the PrideCenter of the Capital Region, will highlight how simple, everyday acts of affirmation at home can drastically reduce mentalhealth risks and foster resilience in LGBTQIA+ youth.
