MHANYS School Mental Health Resource and Training Center Highlighting PRIDE Month through Upcoming Webinars on EMPACT (Empathy-Based Model for Prevention, Affirmation and Community Transformation)

This Pride Month, the School Mental Health Resource and Training Center will be providing an educator cafe and a family education webinar overview of EMPACT – Empathy Based Model for Prevention, Affirmation, and Community Transformation – a trauma-informed, evidence-aligned training developed by the Pride Center of the Capital Region.

Nathaniel Gray, MSW, Executive Director of the Pride Center of the Capital Region, will highlight how simple, everyday acts of affirmation at home can drastically reduce mental health risks and foster resilience in LGBTQIA+ youth.
