From the rising demand for Mental Health First Aid and our expanded efforts to reach more teens and adults working with youth, to innovative training developed by our School Mental Health Resource and Training Center to address the loneliness epidemic, our programs continue to evolve. The strength and inspiration of our community were evident as we hosted our largest-ever Mental Health Matters Day, uniting over 500 people to champion critical mental health public policies and carry this momentum back to their communities.
We invite you to read about our activities from the first quarter as we come together to recognize May as Mental Health Awareness Month, and that spring presents new opportunities to expand our vision.
Our shared mission to strengthen our communities by raising awareness, reducing stigma, advocating, and promoting wellness and recovery is more important than ever. Please share MHANYS Journal with your networks.
Gratefully,
Glenn Liebman, CEO, MHANY
