MH Update – 8/9/19 – MHANYS Partners with Herkimer Community College to Include Care Path Curriculum as part of Human Services Degree

MHANYS is very pleased to be partnering with Herkimer Community College in the inclusion of MHANYS Care Path Curriculum for all students graduating with a degree in Human Services.  The Care Path Program is an innovative new program developed by MHANYS Director of Family Engagement and Support Services, Deborah Faust that inculcates our work on Parents with Psychiatric Disabilities, Veteran Family Mental Health Program and lived experience. This model recognizes the importance of the whole health approach to recovery for individuals and their loved ones. To date, we have almost 100 Care Path Trainers within our MHAs.   We are very excited about this partnership and we thank the leadership of Herkimer Community College for their recognition of the importance of Whole Health and Family Engagement as part of their curriculum.

If you like to find out more about the CARE PATH program than you can go to our webpage at www.mhanys.org or contact Deb at dfaust@mhanys.org
