The Governor just completed her first public comments focused primarily on the variant, universal masking and changing the culture in Albany. From our perspective, we were very pleased to hear her also say that among her priorities was ‘*investing in mental health”.
Given her prior comments and support of mental health, this has potential for a very good sign for the future of community mental health funding.
We very much look forward to working with her and her administration in focusing on mental health supports and services and our workforce.
