MH Update – 8/17/20 – Supporting School Mental Health in the Wake of COVID: A Free Virtual Conference taking place on August 19th and 20th


MHANYS is Co-Sponsoring a conference with the Northeast and Caribbean Region 2 of HHS and SAMHSA on the important subject of supporting school mental health in the wake of COVID-19   Leading national and state experts will be participating in this topical conference. MHANYS Director of School Mental Health Resource and Training Center, Amy Molloy and MHANYS Education Consultant, Sue Wollner are among the featured speakers.   Registration Information is listed below.

Delivered by the Northeast and Caribbean Mental Health Technology Transfer Center and the Mental Health Association in New York State, Inc. 

Join us for a two-day conference for K-12 educators, staff, and administrators focused on strategies to support student and educator mental health as they transition back to school (remotely or in-person). Topics have been tailored to meet regional needs, but are open to all. Registration will be open to educators in New Jersey, New York, Puerto Rico, and the US Virgin Islands on July 28 and nationwide on August 4. MHANYS is an approved provider of CTLE hours. Continuing education content will be submitted for review for target audience disciplines.
