MH Update – 6/7/20 – Executive Order 202.38- Extension of Provisions related to Telehealth and Background Checks


We know that this issue is of great concern to many providers  The flexibility for telehealth regulation is now extended to July 6th.

On June 6, 2020, Governor Cuomo issued Executive Order 202.38, which extends telehealth regulatory flexibility for OMH-licensed, funded, and designated programs, as detailed in Executive Order 202.1, until July 6, 2020.

Executive Order 202.38 also extends modifications to the background check process for OMH authorized programs, as detailed in Executive Order 202.13, until July 6, 2020.
