06/10/2022- OMH Webinar Recording and Slides: Helping Children Youth and Families Cope After Mass Violence – June 9. 2022

OMH would like thank to those who took part in yesterday’s statewide community webinar, “Helping Children Youth and Families Cope After Mass Violence.”The presentation was designed to help parents, educators and other trusted adults to better understand common reactions to traumatic stress in children and youth. The presentation overviewed what adults can do and say to help children at various developmental stages as well as coping skills for caregivers. The webinar also provided information about the mental health effects of hate-based violence and racism on children and youth.
