Advocacy Action: Help Support Trauma-Informed Legislation
The Assembly has proposed requiring trauma-informed practice training for mandated reporters. The bill would also provide for the creation and dissemination of materials explaining Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs)/Protective Factors and pointing parents in the direction of community resources. Finally, the legislation would expand the list of services covered by Child Health Plus, including children’s mental health rehab. Please help us urge the Senate to include these provisions in the final budget by following this campaign link.
