TAKE ACTION TOMORROW MORNING TO GET THE HUMAN SERVICES COLA
IN THIS YEAR’S BUDGET!
With only a week to go, we need a huge call in drive TOMORROW to make sure our 2.9% Cost of Living Adjustment (COLA) is in the final budget agreement!
Further, we need to emphasize that the only way to address the staffing crisis for ALL human service nonprofits is
with an across the board COLA!
URGENT: Make 2 Calls First Thing Tomorrow Morning!
State legislators will be meeting tomorrow morning to let their leaders know about their priorities, which must include the COLA!
Find out the name and phone number of your Senate at www.nysenate.gov/find-my-senator and your Assembly member at nyassembly.gov/mem/search/
Call them at 9 am tomorrow morning and leave the following message
“I’m a registered voter from (your locality) calling to make clear that the only way to address the crisis faced by ALL of NY’s human service workers is via a 2.9% COLA!
