Please distribute the following invitation to the Children and Families you serve who are part of the below listed 1915c waiver programs. For families that may not have access to technology that would enable them to attend, we ask that you consider screening this event at your agency.

New York State (NYS) invites Children and Families enrolled in the following Medicaid waiver programs to learn about changes happening to the Children’s Medicaid System and what that means for you, including additional opportunities coming your way:
NYS Agency Waiver
Department of Health Care at Home I/II (CAH I/II)
Office of Mental Health Serious Emotional Disturbance (SED)
Office of Children and Bridges to Health (B2H)
Family Services
Office for People with Care at Home (CAH)
Developmental Disabilities
NYS agencies DOH, OMH, OCFS, OPWDD, and OASAS have been working to ensure that Medicaid services are delivered in a way that works best for children and families.
This includes making sure that children have access to all of the services they need, regardless of what their primary health needs may be.
It also means children and families have a say in what services they want, where services are delivered, and how services are provided.
