Today’s rally brought almost three hundred people from across New York to advocate for a 5.4% COLA for behavioral health and a $500 million increase in funding for service, support and workforce.
Incredibly powerful speakers sharing heartfelt stories including family members, peers, community providers as well as Senator Peter Harckham made for a passionate and inspiring rally.
Between this event, last week’s media event and our call ins, the Governor and the Legislature should be hearing our message loud and clear about the need for the COLA and the $500 million funding increase.
