Last week, MHANYS participated in a panel on PBS with Assembly member Aileen Gunther, Dr. Daniel Kaplan, President of the Psychological Association and Raeanne McLaughlin, CEO of Pine Harbor Assisted Living in Plattsburgh.
It gave both Assembly member Gunther and I an opportunity to discuss the impact to New York of the 20% withholds and the need for a moratorium on any cuts to behavioral health driven by the mental health impact of COVID-19
