As the colors change and the beauty of autumn sets in across New York, many people take time to get outside and enjoy nature’s colorful display. Whether it’s taking a walk around the neighborhood or a proper fall road trip, a chance of scenery can help clear and focus the mind. And now, after two years, the School Mental Health Resource and Training Center (SMHRTC) is finally getting back out on the road! During the next six weeks, SMHRTC staff will be attending a variety of professional association conferences not only to promote our school and youth resources and programs, but everything that MHANYS has to offer.
From school counselors and social workers to administrators, nurses and health and physical education teachers, we are looking forward to connecting with education professionals from across New York State who make a difference in the lives of our students and their families. If you’re attending any of the conferences listed below, come and say hi! If you’re unable to travel this year, we encourage you to explore each association’s respective website for resources and more ways to connect to others in your community.
