Mental Health Update

Governor Cuomo continues his strong leadership regarding the women’s agenda. New York is a leader in this arena.

There are few better ways to continue this powerful women agenda than by supporting the human services workforce which is comprised 81% by women. On top of that, over 25% of those in the human services sector have second jobs to help make ends meet.

We urge the Governor to support a 2.9% increase in this year’s budget for the entire human services workforce that will greatly enhance the lives of hundreds of thousands of New Yorkers.
