The Governor announced today that he is moving up the presentation of the Executive Budget to next Tuesday (January 15th). This ramps up our activity regarding the inclusion of a 2.9% increase in the State Budget for a Human Services COLA.
We are planning several activities over the next few days and need your grassroots support to help with that message. We heard that the survey we shared from the behavioral health community in regard to vacancy rates and turnover has had an impact. We must continue our momentum.
Letters from CEOs are coming to the Governor on a regular basis. This powerful attached letter is from the Board Chair and CEO of Northern Rivers, one of the State’s largest community based children’s mental health agency.
