Celebrate EMS Week by Movie Screening of “Honorable But Broken: EMS In Crisis”

Next week is National EMS Week 2025, from May 18 to May 24. The theme for this year’s observance is “We Care. For Everyone.” It’s an annual celebration recognizing the work of emergency medical services professionals. To learn more, you can visit www.EMSWeek.org.

As part of EMS Week, Greenport Rescue Squad, Inc. is hosting a FREE screening of ‘Honorable But Broken: EMS In Crisis”, a documentary about the issues EMS is facing, narrated by Sarah Jessica Parker. The movie is only 59-minutes long, and we will be offering a panel of experts to help answer any questions. It will be hosted by Story Screen Cinema, located at 160 Fairview Avenue in Hudson, NY 12534. You can learn more about the movie by visiting https://www.honorablebutbroken.org/

Everyone is invited, including EMS providers, elected officials, fellow first responders and healthcare providers, and members of the community. Please see and share the attached flyer.
