Advocates Continue Rally at the State Capitol for 7.8


Tremendous display of support and rallying for 7.8at the State Capitol on April 1! Advocates from MHANYS, Northern Rivers, The Alliance for Rights & Recovery, FTNYS, NAMI, and the Association for Community Living made their voices throughout the CapitolThe chants could be heard outside the Governor’s office and the office of Speaker Heastie and Senate Majority Leader Andrea Stewart-Cousins. Advocates will continue to rally daily until a final budget is in place. Join us today at 3 p.m. three o’clock on the third floor of the Capitol between the steps of the Senate Chamber and the Legislative Correspondents Association (LCA) Room.

 

We can’t wait for 7.8   We can’t and won’t stop – this funding is too important to our workforce, our peers, our families and community providers.
