As the negotiation over the budget for FY 2026-27 stretches on, we continue to host our rallies in support of the 4% targeted inflationary increase (TII). There is growing energy and support for the community-based programs and workforce as 20 more legislators stopped by on Monday to take their picture with us. This includes Senators Brisport, Cleare, Fernandez, Hinchey, Myrie, Ortt, and Sepulveda; and in the Assembly, Assemblymembers Anderson, Brook-Krasny, Burke, Burdick, Clark, Giglio, D’Urso, Griffin, Lunsford, Meeks, Pirozzolo, and Slater.

We will continue to rally and maintain a presence until the final budget is adopted. The investment is more important than ever as these programs contend with rising programmatic and operational costs as well as efforts to sustain the workforce.
