Living Behind the Mask: African American Men and Mental Health

Stigma is a major factor in keeping people from seeking help for their mental health. And when it comes to African American men, this is even more pronounced. Because of cultural issues, many black men think that it is necessary to keep their guard up and not reveal how they are really feeling and it’s a sign of being weak. This webinar will explore these topics as well as some of the innovative approaches that are being utilized to reach out to African American men to support their emotional and mental wellbeing.
