Last year, thousands of people called the Governor in support of the mental
health tax check off as part of the New York State Income Tax Form. This
landmark legislation made New York State the first State in the country to
actually have legislation identified for mental health public awareness in
income tax forms.

Though we do not officially know the complete amount of money raised for
mental health public awareness in 2016, we do know that there were several
thousand people who did contribute.

This year we want to make a much more concerted effort to support this
initiative and create greater public awareness.

To that end, we want to start by letting people know about the twitter
account we have for the Tax Check Off. It is @nysincometaxmh

We would appreciate if you could become a twitter follower and spread the
word among your friends and colleagues.

Thank you.
