We are very pleased to announce the 2017 MHANYS Awards Dinner and
Educational Conference taking place on October 18th and 19th at the Albany
Marriott.

This year we have brought together an incredibly diverse and talented group
of speakers that will discuss the current federal and state trends
regarding the behavioral health delivery system as well as an esteemed
panel highlighting the integration of mental health in the educational
system.

Among the many highlights of this year’s conference include:

– A Panel that features both NYS Mental Health Commissioner Ann Sullivan
and NYS Education Commissioner, MaryEllen Elia, discussing the role of
mental health in our educational system
– A Keynote Address from Deborah Bachrach, Partner, Manatt Health and

New York’s Medicaid Program
– A Panel of Health Care Experts discussing New York’s trends in Valued
Based Payments, Managed Care and Health Care Reform
– Michi Marshall, Co-Founder with her husband Brandon of Project 375, a
national public awareness campaign dedicated to eradicating the stigma of
mental illness, discussing strategies for ending stigma in your community
– An array of federal and state leaders discussing Medicaid, Valued
Based Payments, Managed Care, HARP, HCBS, Mental Health and School
Partnerships, Mental Health Public Awareness and Family Engagement
in a Managed
Care Setting

All in an environment that brings together many of New York’s thought
leaders all in one day.

MHANYS Annual Awards Dinner on October 18th

MHANYS time honored tradition of bringing hundreds of people together to
honor the people in our MHA’s and colleagues across the State, continues in
2017. These are many of the unsung heroes in our community who work so hard
to foster recovery and hope for the people they work with every day.
