The dramatic changes in New York’s behavioral health system calls for a
cutting edge conference that brings together State and National experts to
help agencies plan strategically for the upcoming transitions. Recognizing
the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead, we have developed MHANYS
Conference this year by bringing in the people who are most knowledgeable
on this subject area. Among this year’s speakers include Linda Rosenberg,
the President and CEO of the National Behavioral Health Council. Linda is
regarded as one of the nation’s leading experts on behavioral health
reform.

We also are honored to have a luncheon keynote address by our Mental Health
Commissioner, Dr. Ann Sullivan. Those who have heard the Commissioner speak
in the past recognize her expertise and strong knowledge of New York’s
mental health system. Other State and national experts are well represented
in the conference including top officials from the Office of Mental Health,
Office of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Services and the Department of
Health as well as representatives from the MHAs, other behavioral health
providers, healthcare associations, health plans and county and state
government.

As you can see from the agenda, we stocked this one day conference full
with content experts and strategists who can help you in planning for the
future of New York’s behavioral health system.

Don’t miss the opportunity to spend one day in Albany at this premier
event. Registration opens tomorrow (August 12th) after twelve at
www.mhanys.org

th where we honor the great work of our members and our colleagues in the
