Momentum continues to grow for the Mental Health Education in Schools Bill
— A.3887.A (Nolan) and S.6046 (Marcellino).

Yesterday, the Senate Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Committee reported the
Mental Health Education Bill out of their committee to the Senate floor.
This means that at some point in the near future, it should be reported on
the floor of the Senate for a vote. We thank Senator Amedore for moving it
out of the committee and Senator Kaminsky for voting in support. We also
thank Senator Latimer for signing on to support the bill.

In the last few days, four more Assembly members have signed on to support
the bill—Assemblymembers Dinowitz, Arroyo, Jaffee and Rosenthal.
