As we have transitioned from budget to the rest of legislative session, our
number one priority continues to be the Mental Health Education in School
Bill. This year’s bill is stronger than ever in supporting changes in
health curriculum to include mental health. Both Education Chairs are
co-sponsoring the bill—Assemblymember Nolan and Senator Marcellino

Much like we did last year with the Mental Health Tax Check Off Bill, the
only way we will get this to happen is through the grassroots advocacy of
all of you in the community. Attached is our updated one pager about the
bill. In the weeks to come, we also will be sharing with you some of the
tools we are using through social media to get the word out.
