As we noted in our budget analysis, the COLA for mental health has been
deferred for the year. It would have been a .8% increase (approximately $10
million), which we know is just a very small piece of what is needed, but
it still would have been a positive starting point for negotiations. We
will continue to argue for the COLA and for utilizing DSRIP dollars to
create a strong investment for the mental health and entire human services
workforce.
