School Resource Center Updates
The Mental Health Association in New York State, Inc. (MHANYS) is sponsoring its annual day-long legislative advocacy event on March 13th, 2019. Youth and student groups are encouraged to attend.
The School Mental Health Resource and Training Center is excited to announce that our self-paced online training module Supporting the Mental Health and Wellness of Students is now available for educators, administrators, and other school personnel.
This module is eligible for one CTLE credit hour.
Mental Health and Wellness 101 is for everyone – the training provides participants with a basic knowledge of mental health, wellness and recovery in an effort to reduce stigma. Contact us to schedule this training for your school today.
The Resource Center website now has a searchable database available by county. This resource provides contact information for mental health services, housing, health care, and emergency services.
