The scholarship will be awarded to three students who will age out or have
aged out of foster care with a permanency goal of Another Planned Permanent
Living Arrangement (APPLA) and are enrolled in an accredited undergraduate
or post high school certificate program during the 2016-2017 academic year.
Students must demonstrate a school-related financial need beyond tuition
that is not being met by other sources.

Good afternoon,

I am pleased to inform you that the *The Honorable Judith S. Kaye Children
and the Law Committee Scholarship* is finalized with the NYS Bar Foundation
and the scholarship application is ready for distribution. The Bar
Foundation’s press release and the application are attached.

Here are the important dates:

· All materials must be submitted by email or mail with a postmark
on or before Monday, December 5, 2016.

· The scholarship recipients will be notified no later than December
31, 2016.

· The scholarships will be distributed to students no later than
February 3, 2017.
