Last year over two hundred people participated in our annual MHANYS Mental
Health Matters Legislative Day. We hope you can join us this year and show
your support for mental health. Through your leadership, funding has been
added to support mental health workers in New York State, the Legislature
also provided funding for Mental Health First Aid, Suicide Prevention,
Veterans Mental Health and Crisis Intervention Teams; A soon-to- be enacted
Mental Health Education law is being implemented in New York and a new
custom license Plate will soon be available to any New Yorker who chooses
to support Mental Health Public Awareness. Your advocacy creates results.

annual  Mental Health Matters Legislative Day – March 14, 2018!

Join MHANYS as we advance important mental health legislation that will
improve services for all New Yorkers, raise mental health awareness and
literacy among educators and others community members and help assure
adequate State funding for New York’s mental health service system. By
attending, you will be able to…

own public policy staff
