Project Goals:
• Increase knowledge of jail personnel about mental
illness and addictions through visits by the Livingroom
staff
• Martin Luther King Peace dinner for homeless
consumers, community leaders, and law inforcement personnel
to enable community and police personnel to meet homeless
people and develop empathy for them
• Encourage positive contact between police and
homeless people through weekly visits at the Livingroom.
